Raised on soap operas, blues music, instant noodles and lots of good books, writer Chantal Eustace is a sucker for romance, adventure and a good laugh — in no particular order.

She has her masters degree in journalism, has worked as a reporter for daily newspapers, like The Vancouver Sun, covering everything from news stories and rock n’ roll features to writing horoscopes and editing the books section.

Her undergrad degree is in art history, and she once spent six months living in a camper in Japan, binging on miso soup, tempura and ancient shrines.
